Description

A refreshing and easy no-bake dessert perfect for summer. This Strawberry Icebox Cake requires no oven and is simple to make.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (10.75 ounces) chocolate wafers
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  2. Lay a layer of chocolate wafers on the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish.
  3. Spread a layer of whipped cream over the wafers.
  4. Top with a layer of sliced strawberries.
  5. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of whipped cream.
  6. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
  7. Slice and serve.
