A quick and flavorful sweet chili chicken recipe perfect for weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 green onions (chopped)
Instructions
- Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces
- Mix sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, and ginger in a bowl
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat
- Add chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned
- Pour sauce mixture over chicken
- Cook for another 5 minutes until sauce thickens
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions
- Serve hot with rice
Notes
- For extra heat, add red pepper flakes
- Can substitute chicken thighs for breasts
