Ingredients
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Press the unbaked pie crust into a 9-inch pie plate.
- Sprinkle the chopped pecans evenly over the bottom of the pie crust.
- Scatter the chocolate chips over the pecans.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.
- Stir in the melted butter, milk, vanilla extract, and salt until the mixture is smooth.
- Carefully pour the egg mixture over the pecans and chocolate chips in the pie crust.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the center is set and the crust is golden brown.
- Let the pie cool completely on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For an extra rich flavor, use dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
