Ingredients

  • Boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • Unsalted butter
  • Garlic, minced
  • Paprika
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Salt
  • Heavy cream
  • Chicken broth
  • Shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese


Instructions

  • Prepare the chicken by patting it dry and seasoning it with salt and pepper.
  • Sear the chicken in a large, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat until golden-brown.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and make the sauce by melting butter, sautéing garlic, and adding paprika, cayenne, and salt.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, bring to a simmer, then return the chicken to the skillet.
  • Cover the skillet and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
