Texas Trash Dip

  • Author: laura
  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 6-8 servings

Description

Texas Trash Dip is cheesy, creamy, and perfect for parties! This hot layered dip disappears fast—serve it with chips and watch it go!

Ingredients

  • Cream Cheese
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Monterey Jack Cheese
  • Taco Seasoning
  • Diced Tomatoes
  • Sour Cream

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses, taco seasoning, and sour cream. Mix everything together until the ingredients are well incorporated and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold in the diced tomatoes, being careful not to overmix and break them down too much.
  • Transfer the Texas Trash Dip mixture to a baking dish or oven-safe skillet. Smooth the top with a spatula to create an even surface.
  • Bake the dip for 20-25 minutes, or until it’s hot, bubbly, and the edges are lightly golden brown.
  • Remove the dip from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve the warm, irresistible Texas Trash Dip with your favorite dippers, such as crispy tortilla chips, fresh vegetable sticks, or crusty bread.
