Description
Classic deviled eggs, a perfect no-bake appetizer for Thanksgiving. Easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients
- 12 large eggs
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Paprika, for garnish
Instructions
- Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Drain eggs and rinse with cold water. Peel and cut in half lengthwise.
- Remove yolks and mash them in a bowl.
- Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and white vinegar to the mashed yolks. Mix until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
- Garnish with paprika.
Notes
- For a creamier filling, add an extra tablespoon of mayonnaise.
- You can add chopped chives or bacon bits for extra flavor.
- Make ahead and refrigerate until ready to serve.
