These festive Fourth of July appetizers are prepared with minimal ingredients for easy entertaining.
Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1 (10 ounce) jar red pepper jelly
- 1 (10 ounce) box butter crackers
- 1 (14 ounce) bag blue corn tortilla chips
- 1 (15 ounce) jar salsa
- 1 (8 ounce) package shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
- 1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning
Instructions
- For the pepper jelly and cream cheese appetizer: Spread cream cheese onto a serving plate. Pour red pepper jelly over the cream cheese. Serve with butter crackers.
- For the chips, salsa, and cheese dip: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine salsa and shredded cheddar cheese. Microwave for 1-2 minutes, stirring halfway, until cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve warm with blue corn tortilla chips.
- For the taco dip: In a medium bowl, combine sour cream and taco seasoning. Mix well. Serve as a dip with blue corn tortilla chips.
Notes
- For a spicier pepper jelly, choose a hot variety.
- Adjust the amount of taco seasoning to your preference.
