Description

A festive snack board featuring a variety of cheeses, meats, fruits, and crackers arranged for a 4th of July celebration.


Ingredients

  • 1 (7-ounce) log goat cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh chives
  • 1/2 cup cherry or grape tomatoes
  • 1 (8-ounce) block sharp white cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8-ounce) block Colby Jack cheese
  • 1 (8-ounce) block Swiss cheese
  • 1 (8-ounce) package sliced hard salami
  • 1 (8-ounce) package prosciutto
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 1 1/2 cups small seedless red grapes
  • 1 1/2 cups small seedless green grapes
  • 1 cup quartered strawberries
  • 1 (8-ounce) package buttery round crackers
  • 1 (8-ounce) package multigrain crackers
  • 1 (8-ounce) package water crackers
  • 1 (8-ounce) package pita crackers
  • 1/2 cup small pretzels
  • 1/2 cup small cornichons or pickles
  • 1/2 cup mixed nuts
  • 1/4 cup small olives
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup fig jam
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Roll goat cheese log in chopped pecans and chives until evenly coated.
  2. Cut cherry tomatoes in half.
  3. Cut white cheddar, Colby Jack, and Swiss cheeses into 1-inch cubes.
  4. Fold salami and prosciutto slices into quarters or rolls.
  5. Arrange goat cheese log, cubed cheeses, salami, prosciutto, tomatoes, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, red grapes, green grapes, strawberries, crackers, pretzels, cornichons, mixed nuts, and olives on a large serving board or platter.
  6. Place small bowls of honey and fig jam on the board.
  7. Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs.
  8. Serve immediately.
