Make delicious Asian-style garlic chicken thighs at home.
Ingredients
- Chicken thighs: 6, bone-in, skin-on
- Soy sauce: 1/4 cup
- Honey: 2 tablespoons
- Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
- Ginger: 1 teaspoon, grated
- Sesame oil: 1 tablespoon
- Cornstarch: 1 tablespoon
- Green onions: for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil.
- Add chicken thighs to the marinade. Ensure they are fully coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place chicken thighs on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and skin is crispy.
- Mix cornstarch with a little water to make a slurry.
- Remove chicken from oven. Brush with slurry and bake for 5 more minutes.
- Garnish with chopped green onions.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- Serve with rice.
