Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs: 6, bone-in, skin-on
  • Soy sauce: 1/4 cup
  • Honey: 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
  • Ginger: 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Sesame oil: 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch: 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions: for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the marinade. Ensure they are fully coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Place chicken thighs on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and skin is crispy.
  6. Mix cornstarch with a little water to make a slurry.
  7. Remove chicken from oven. Brush with slurry and bake for 5 more minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions.
