Description

A delicious and easy Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry recipe.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, cut into thin strips
  • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Cooked rice, for serving


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce and cornstarch.
  2. Add beef and marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a wok or large skillet.
  4. Stir-fry beef until browned. Remove and set aside.
  5. Add vegetable oil to the wok.
  6. Stir-fry garlic, ginger, and broccoli for 3 minutes.
  7. Add beef broth and cook until broccoli is tender.
  8. Return beef to the wok.
  9. Stir in the soy sauce mixture.
  10. Cook until sauce thickens.
  11. Serve over rice.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of soy sauce to your taste.
  • You can add other vegetables like carrots or bell peppers.
  • For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
