Description
A delicious and easy Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin, cut into thin strips
- 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce and cornstarch.
- Add beef and marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat sesame oil in a wok or large skillet.
- Stir-fry beef until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add vegetable oil to the wok.
- Stir-fry garlic, ginger, and broccoli for 3 minutes.
- Add beef broth and cook until broccoli is tender.
- Return beef to the wok.
- Stir in the soy sauce mixture.
- Cook until sauce thickens.
- Serve over rice.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of soy sauce to your taste.
- You can add other vegetables like carrots or bell peppers.
- For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
