Description

Ingredients

  • 1 package (6 cakes) Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening
  • Red and green sprinkles, for decorating


Instructions

  1. Crumble the Christmas Tree Cakes in a bowl.
  2. Add the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to the crumbled cakes. Mix until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Chill the truffle balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Melt the white chocolate chips and vegetable shortening in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
  6. Dip each chilled truffle ball into the melted white chocolate, coating completely.
  7. Place the coated truffles back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Immediately decorate with red and green sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
  9. Allow the truffles to set completely before serving or packaging.
