A rich and flavorful pasta dish with Cajun-spiced shrimp in a creamy sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound pasta, your choice
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan. Cook shrimp until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté bell peppers and onion until softened. Add garlic.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Add shrimp and cooked pasta to the sauce. Toss to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to your preference.
- You can add a splash of hot sauce for extra heat.
- Serve immediately for best results.
