Description

A savory Dutch baby pancake with cheddar cheese and bacon.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Place butter in a 10-inch oven-safe skillet. Put the skillet in the oven to melt the butter.
  3. In a blender, combine flour, milk, eggs, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  4. Carefully remove the hot skillet from the oven. Pour batter into the skillet.
  5. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and bacon.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
  7. Serve immediately.
