Description
A quick and easy one-pan meal perfect for a weeknight dinner or a party appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup water
- 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (15 ounce) can corn, drained
- 1 cup salsa
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Optional toppings: sour cream, guacamole, chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain off any grease.
- Add onion and cook until softened.
- Stir in taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer.
- Add black beans, corn, and salsa. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Cover and cook until cheese is melted.
- Top with your favorite toppings and serve.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for ground beef.
- Add a can of diced tomatoes and green chilies for extra flavor.
- For a spicier dish, use hot salsa or add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
