A comforting and delicious cheesy pasta bake, perfect for a cozy family dinner.
Ingredients
- Pasta (500g)
- Ground beef (500g)
- Onion (1, chopped)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Tomato sauce (700ml)
- Dried oregano (1 tsp)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Ricotta cheese (250g)
- Grated mozzarella cheese (2 cups)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (1/2 cup)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Brown ground beef in a pan. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion and garlic. Cook until softened.
- Stir in tomato sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Mix cooked pasta with meat sauce.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella, and Parmesan.
- Layer pasta mixture in a baking dish. Dollop ricotta mixture on top.
- Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms to the meat sauce.
- For a spicier bake, add red pepper flakes.
- Feel free to use your favorite pasta shape.
