A delicious and easy recipe for classic garlic butter shrimp scampi.
Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Cooked pasta, for serving
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Add shrimp and cook until pink (2-3 minutes per side).
- Pour in white wine and chicken broth.
- Stir in lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Serve over cooked pasta.
Notes
- You can add red pepper flakes for heat.
- Serve immediately for best results.
