Description
A moist and flavorful quick bread combining tart cranberries with bright orange zest.
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup cranberries
- 1 tbsp orange zest
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup butter (melted)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- In another bowl, beat sugar, egg, melted butter, milk, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Fold in cranberries and orange zest.
- Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.

- Use fresh cranberries for best texture
- Zest oranges before juicing
