Description
A simple and delicious creamy spinach and turkey pasta. This easy comfort meal is also a healthy option.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 10 ounces fresh spinach
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pound pasta
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Brown ground turkey in a pan. Drain any excess fat.
- Add olive oil, onion, and garlic to the pan. Cook until softened.
- Stir in spinach and cook until wilted.
- Pour in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer.
- Add cooked pasta to the sauce. Toss to combine.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can substitute ground chicken for turkey.
- Add red pepper flakes for some heat.
- For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
