A delicious honey lavender cheesecake with a creamy floral twist.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon culinary lavender buds
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Make the crust: Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into a 9-inch springform pan.
- Bake crust for 8 minutes. Let cool.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add honey and lavender; mix well.
- Add eggs one at a time, then stir in heavy cream and vanilla.
- Pour filling over crust.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until set.
- Cool completely, then chill for at least 4 hours.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- For a smoother cheesecake, use room-temperature ingredients.
- You can add a berry compote on top.
- Make sure to chill the cheesecake for a minimum of 4 hours.
