Simple and quick salmon cakes made with canned salmon.


Ingredients

  • 1 (14.75 ounce) can salmon, drained
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Oil for frying


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine salmon, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, onion, egg, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix well until everything is combined.
  3. Form mixture into patties.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm.
