Description
Simple and quick salmon cakes made with canned salmon.
Ingredients
- 1 (14.75 ounce) can salmon, drained
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine salmon, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, onion, egg, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Mix well until everything is combined.
- Form mixture into patties.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- You can add different herbs and spices to customize the flavor.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator.
