Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 packet chili seasoning
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped onions


Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Place browned beef, onion, and garlic in the slow cooker.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes, kidney beans, pinto beans, chili seasoning, and beef broth.
  4. Stir to combine.
  5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
