Ingredients

  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Cooked rice, for serving
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, cornstarch, sesame oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  2. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add chicken thighs to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  5. Pour the sauce over the chicken and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve the chicken over cooked rice.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
