Description
Quick and easy chicken thigh dinner with a delicious sticky sauce.
Ingredients
- 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Cooked rice, for serving
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, cornstarch, sesame oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken thighs to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
- Serve the chicken over cooked rice.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your preference.
- You can also use chicken breasts instead of thighs.
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
