Description
Easy garlic herb ground turkey and rice skillet meal.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried herbs (Italian mix)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
Instructions
- Brown ground turkey in a skillet. Drain any excess fat.
- Add olive oil, onion, and garlic. Cook until softened.
- Stir in herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Add rice and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
- Stir in peas and cook until heated through.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- You can substitute other vegetables.
- Adjust seasonings to your taste.
