Easy garlic herb ground turkey and rice skillet meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs (Italian mix)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas


Instructions

  1. Brown ground turkey in a skillet. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add olive oil, onion, and garlic. Cook until softened.
  3. Stir in herbs, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add rice and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
  6. Stir in peas and cook until heated through.
  7. Serve hot.
