Description
A comforting pasta dish with ground turkey and mushrooms.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (24 ounce) jar pasta sauce
- 8 ounces pasta
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Brown ground turkey in a pan. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion and mushrooms. Cook until softened.
- Stir in garlic. Cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in pasta sauce. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Add cooked pasta. Toss to combine.
- Serve with Parmesan cheese.
Notes
- You can use any type of pasta you like.
- Add vegetables like bell peppers.
- For extra flavor, add Italian seasoning.
