Description
A simple and delicious ground turkey pasta with fresh tomato and basil.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 8 ounces pasta
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Brown ground turkey in a pan with olive oil. Drain any excess grease.
- Add onion and garlic. Cook until softened.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes and basil. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add cooked pasta to the sauce. Toss to combine.
- Serve with Parmesan cheese, if desired.

- You can substitute ground chicken for turkey.
- Add vegetables like zucchini or bell peppers.
