Description
A quick and easy stir-fry with shrimp, broccoli, and a delicious honey garlic sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
- Add broccoli and cook for 3-4 minutes, until slightly tender.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Pour in the honey garlic sauce and cook until thickened, about 1 minute.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with sesame seeds, if desired.
- Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of honey and soy sauce to your taste.
- You can add other vegetables, such as bell peppers or carrots.
- For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
