Description

A quick and easy stir-fry with shrimp, broccoli, and a delicious honey garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
  4. Add broccoli and cook for 3-4 minutes, until slightly tender.
  5. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  6. Pour in the honey garlic sauce and cook until thickened, about 1 minute.
  7. Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to combine.
  8. Season with salt and pepper.
  9. Garnish with sesame seeds, if desired.
  10. Serve immediately over rice or noodles.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of honey and soy sauce to your taste.
  • You can add other vegetables, such as bell peppers or carrots.
  • For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
