Description
A quick and easy skillet meal featuring lemon garlic shrimp and asparagus.
Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
- Add asparagus to the skillet and cook until tender-crisp, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Return shrimp to the skillet.
- Pour in lemon juice and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Cook for 1 minute, until heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley.

- Adjust cooking time based on shrimp and asparagus size.
- Serve immediately for best results.
