Simple and flavorful lemon pepper grilled chicken thighs. Perfect for a quick weeknight meal.
Ingredients
- Chicken thighs: 6, bone-in, skin-on
- Lemon: 1, zested and juiced
- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
- Lemon pepper seasoning: 2 tablespoons
- Garlic: 2 cloves, minced
- Salt: to taste
- Black pepper: to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, lemon pepper seasoning, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Place chicken thighs in a resealable bag or dish. Pour marinade over chicken and ensure they are fully coated.
- Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove chicken from marinade and discard the marinade.
- Grill chicken thighs, skin-side down, for 5-7 minutes until grill marks appear.
- Flip chicken and continue grilling for another 15-20 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.

- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
