Ingredients

  • 12 croissants, day-old
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Cut croissants into 1-inch pieces.
  2. In a large bowl, combine croissant pieces, cheddar cheese, and Monterey Jack cheese.
  3. Cook sausage and onion in a skillet until browned. Drain excess grease.
  4. Add sausage mixture to the croissant mixture.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour egg mixture over the croissant mixture. Gently stir to combine.
