A delicious and easy pumpkin spice bread recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 15 ounces pumpkin puree
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar, oil, and eggs.
- Stir in pumpkin puree.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- You can add chocolate chips or nuts.
- Make a simple glaze with powdered sugar and milk.
