Make delicious rosemary cheese crackers from scratch.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 2-3 tablespoons ice water
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and pepper.
- Add cheese and butter. Cut the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add rosemary.
- Gradually add ice water, mixing until the dough comes together.
- Roll the dough thinly between two sheets of parchment paper.
- Cut the dough into desired cracker shapes.
- Transfer crackers to a baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool completely before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier cracker, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- You can use different types of cheese.
- Store crackers in an airtight container.
