Description

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup (2 sticks) cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup ice water
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, salt, cayenne pepper, and black pepper.
- Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the cheddar cheese.
- Gradually add ice water until the dough comes together.
- Wrap the dough and chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out the dough and cut into cracker shapes.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden.
- Let cool and enjoy your spicy cheddar crackers.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder.
- You can use different cheeses.
