Description
These Spicy Honey Garlic Chicken Skewers are a flavor explosion! Tender chicken marinated in a sweet and spicy sauce, then grilled to perfection.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sriracha (or more, to taste)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- Skewers (wooden, soaked in water for 30 minutes, or metal)
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sriracha, garlic, sesame oil, and ginger.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours, in the refrigerator.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
- Grill the skewers for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust the sriracha to control the spice level.
- You can also bake these in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes.
- For extra flavor, baste the skewers with the marinade while grilling.
