Description

Spicy oven-baked Bang Bang chicken skewers. Tender chicken marinated in a flavorful sauce, then baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sriracha, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and pepper.
  2. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours, in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked skewers.
  5. Place the skewers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred.
  7. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust the sriracha to control the spice level.
  • For extra flavor, garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
