Description
Spicy oven-baked Bang Bang chicken skewers. Tender chicken marinated in a flavorful sauce, then baked to perfection.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sriracha, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and pepper.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours, in the refrigerator.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked skewers.
- Place the skewers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust the sriracha to control the spice level.
- For extra flavor, garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
- Serve with a side of rice or noodles.
