Description
Simple sweet chili chicken thighs cooked in one skillet. A quick and easy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken thighs for 3-4 minutes per side, until browned.
- In a bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
- Pour sauce over chicken thighs.
- Simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and sauce has thickened.
- Garnish with green onions.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
- Serve with rice or noodles.
- For extra flavor, add some sesame seeds.
