Ingredients

  • 1 pound pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Brown ground beef. Drain any grease.
  3. Add onion and garlic. Cook until softened.
  4. Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in cooked pasta.
