Description
A comforting casserole with chicken, broccoli, and rice in a creamy sauce.
Ingredients
- Cooked chicken, shredded – 2 cups
- Broccoli florets – 2 cups
- Cooked rice – 2 cups
- Cream of mushroom soup – 1 can
- Milk – 1/2 cup
- Cheddar cheese, shredded – 1 cup
- Onion, chopped – 1/4 cup
- Butter – 2 tbsp
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Sauté onion in butter until softened.
- Add broccoli and cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir in soup and milk.
- Add chicken, rice, and half the cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour into a baking dish.
- Top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and cheese is melted.
Notes
- You can use leftover cooked chicken.
- Frozen broccoli works well.
- Adjust seasonings to your preference.
