Ingredients
- Fresh peaches: 6-8, sliced
- All-purpose flour: 1 cup
- Sugar: 1 cup, plus more for topping
- Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
- Milk: 1/2 cup
- Butter: 1/2 cup, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk and melted butter. Stir until just combined.
- Pour batter into a baking dish.
- Arrange peach slices over the batter.
- Sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
- You can use canned peaches. Drain them first.
